Chicago Trucking Logistics and Fueling Hub
IllinoisA logistics company required environmental due diligence services to acquire a large trucking logistics hub located in the north Suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. The Subject Property had been an abandoned trucking terminal for freight transport. It included a fueling facility with 30,000-gallon Underground Storage Tanks (USTs). A Phase I Environmental Site Assessment was needed within ten business days to satisfy the requirements of the commercial lender.
Nashville Gas Station Acquisition

Shoppes of Mid Rivers
MissouriA 28 acre proposed development by GBT Realty fronted Interstate 70 and included 270,000 SF of retail space and 14 buildings. The Shoppes of Mid Rivers includes space for Academy Sports, Burlington, Marshalls, Home Goods, Ulta Beauty, Carter’s-OshKosh B’gosh, Five Below, Famous Footwear, Ross Dress For Less, Sleep Number, Spring, World Financial, and Aspen Dental. The development required working with the GBT design team closely to minimize and avoid impact to natural resources. A Clean Water Act, Section 404 Permit was required for unavoidable wetland impact and entrance road stream crossings.
Athens Natural Gas Pipeline Expansion
TennesseeA 23.48-mile length natural gas pipeline expansion planned by the Athens Utility Board required natural resource surveys, environmental permitting, and stream restoration services. The project intersected 47 jurisdictional streams, six hydrologic units, and four wetlands.
Murray Natural Gas Pipeline Extension
KentuckyThe client required environmental permits from the state of Tennessee – Division of Water Resources and Nashville District, US Corps of Engineers to make drainage culvert improvements. Additionally, state and federal watercourse jurisdictional determinations were required for environmental planning during site layout.

Natural resource inventories, endangered species review, environmental due diligence, and agency coordination was required to facilitate natural resource impact avoidance and project development during project planning and construction. A definitive request for determination had to be made to the Army Corps of Engineers to ensure the project's viability and legal compliance.

A significant part of the approval process was to specify the zones within the Mississippi River which were off-limits to dredging due to various environmental, utility, and infrastructure considerations.

TennesseeA shipping and logistics client planned to transform a 22-acre parcel into a marine terminal on the Cumberland River in Nashville. To do this, they required comprehensive environmental permitting, including Section 10/404 and Section 401 WQC permits, and exhaustive natural resources studies to ensure the sustainability and legal compliance of the proposed development.

New Orleans RECAP Program Soil Remediation

Nashville Hotel Development Cleanup
