Project Need

An aggregate materials merchant needed assistance to dredge sand and gravel from the Mississippi River's bed. For the project to proceed, approvals were needed across multiple states where the river flows - a multi state area in the eastern US. A significant part of the approval process was to specify the zones within the Mississippi River which were off-limits to dredging due to various environmental, utility, and infrastructure considerations.
