Stormwater Compliance for Industrial Facility in Amarillo

Environmental Compliance - Texas
Stormwater compliance project in Texas – environmental consultants prepared NOI and SWPPP for industrial facility under TCEQ requirements.

Project Need

An industrial trucking facility in Texas required coverage under the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Multi-Sector General Permit for Industrial Activities. To operate in compliance with stormwater regulations, the site needed permit authorization and a facility-specific Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP).

Services Completed

Lord & Winter prepared and submitted the Notice of Intent (NOI) through TCEQ’s STEERS system and developed a comprehensive SWPPP. The plan included a site plan, identification of stormwater discharge points, documentation of industrial activities, and descriptions of best management practices (BMPs) designed to control stormwater impacts.

Issue Resolved

By completing the NOI and SWPPP, the facility met its TCEQ stormwater compliance deadline and reduced the risk of regulatory enforcement. These deliverables provided a framework for managing stormwater runoff and protecting water quality at the site.
